Annual Fund 2010
The Annual Fund is the bedrock of support for Hillside House, helping our 59 residents to live meaningful lives.
In
2010 the cost of providing high-quality care to our residents 365 days
a year, 24 hours a day, will exceed what we receive from state payments
by almost $1,000 a day. That means we must depend on the generosity of
compassionate individuals and organizations who recognize that every
human being deserves an equal chance to have a good life. With your
generous support, our residents can live well, despite the challenges
they were born with. They can reach for the fullest expression of
their abilities and dreams and have the kinds of experiences that make
for a fulfilling life. You make this possible.
Your gift to the
Annual Fund
provides for the daily programs and services that
make Hillside House a unique, loving home for our
residents. It supports enrichment activities in the arts, cooking,
gardening, sports and more. Your donation helps pay for community
events for our residents, as well as individualized nutrition and
skills development programs. It also pays for life-saving and
life-enhancing, medical, dental and psychological services that are not
covered by the state, so our residents can be healthy and well.
Hillside House believes that every human being is important
and has gifts to offer. Each one deserves a good life and the
possibility to express their capacities and fulfill their dreams. This
would not be possible without the
generosity of the friends of Hillside House. Join us in our vision of
a world of possibilities for all by making a donation today!
