Hillside House 2015 Annual Fund

Supporting Quality of Life for 70 Years.

Quality of life.

For 70 years, th
ose who call Hillside House home have shared this common wish:

To be supported in their determination to live a full life.

While the details of each resident's definition of "a full life" may vary, over the years we have identified enduring elements that comprise a good Quality of Life at Hillside House.

Four key programs are critical to support our residents' inspiring
determination to live the best possible life, regardlesss of the extent of their disabilities.  And, these essential Quality of Life programs are privately funded (about 15% of our budget) by donors like you

Your tax-deductible gifts provide residents with these critical Quality of Life programs and much more:

1. Physical Therapy

From the only dedicated aqua therapy pool in the region to customized physical therapy programs that help our residents' strength, dexterity and flexibility, these programs arguably provide the greatest support to live the most independent life possible.

2. Skills Development

While Physical Therapy keeps our residents' bodies strong, Skills Development touches our residents hearts and souls, helping them reach personal goals, pursue unique interests, develop vital life skills and lead fuller lives through a broad range of educational experiences.

3. Wellness Fund

The Jeffrey Gorham Endowment for Health and Wellness Fund was created to support good nutrition and healthy lifestyles.  The Fund provides more fresh produce at mealtime and educates residents on healthy dietary choices, gardening, food shopping and cooking.  Gifts through the Annual Fund support current year wellness initiatives.

4. Facilities Improvements

Your gift to the Annual Fund also helps to keep our 23-acre Veronica Canyon home safe, up-to-date and beautiful, and our equipment relevant to our residents' personalized needs.

Thank you for helping our 59 residents live their best possible lives through your gifts to the 2015 Annual Fund!
Donors will be acknowledged by name on this site and in our Annual Report. If you wish to remain anonymous, please just let us know.
